Connectors - A conductive device that joins electric conductors mechanically and electrically to other conductors and to the terminals of apparatus and equipment. Generally, electronic connectors are either male or female, or a combination of both.

Gender changers convert female connectors to male connectors, and vice versa. Male connectors plug into receptacles, jacks, and outlets and the female connectors contain sockets to receive other device. Connectors are divided into different categories based on shape (e.g. cylindrical, square) and smallest contact size.
