Universal Joints or U joints are flexible mechanical connectors that allow the rod to bend in any direction, and are commonly used in shaft that transmit rotary motion. There are two types of U-joints, i.e. single joint, capable of operating at up to 45 degree angle and double joint, capable of operating at up to 90 degree angle.
