ENGINEERING RESOURCES
A spring is a flexible elastic object used to store mechanical energy. The rate of a spring is the change in the force exerted, divided by the change in deflection of the spring. A spring that does not stretch or compress beyond the elastic limit obeys Hooke’s law.
i.e

    F = -kx,
‘x’ is displacement vector
‘F’ is resulting force vector
‘k’ is the spring constant or force constant of the spring.
