Electric Heaters- An electric appliance that converts electric energy into heat energy by resisting the free flow of electric current. The heating element inside electric heater is simply an electrical resistor. According to the Joule law “an electric current flowing through a resistor converts electrical energy into heat energy.”

We can calculate the heat output (P) from the heating element in terms of either current (I) or voltage (V).
