Lots of E-bikes at an auto show
It seems as though the idea of short-distance mobility has captured a lot of people’s imaginations, judging by the number of electric scooters and bikes roaming around the show. Some we saw came from URB-E. The URB-E Sport and URB-E Pro are foldable urban electric vehicles built in Pasadena. Both weigh 30 lb. and can travel 16 miles on a charge at a top speed of 14 mph. The Sport and Sport GT use shock absorber-type and torsion bar suspensions respectively. Both use solid tires and go for between $900 and $1,100. The higher-end Pro and Pro GT models (not shown) use pneumatic tires and coilover suspension, weigh a bit more and go a bit faster.
