Cincinnati, OH – Custom designed electronic transformers from Standex Electronics utilize special multi-braided wire which is then wound via a proprietary process to greatly reduce leakage inductance or energy transfer. This virtually eliminates the “noise” or electrical interference which is a common reason for repeating of medical procedures like MRIs and x-rays. Custom designs built to customer specifications make Standex transformers ideal for MRIs, portable x-ray machines, hospital beds, dental chairs, electrosurgical tools and other OEM medical applications.

Whether Standex supplies core transformer coils or complete value-added assemblies, each is built to exacting standards in ISO9001 registered facilities. In addition, Standex engineers provide insight and guidance during each step to ensure a solution that fits the need and stays within budget. Value-added assemblies combine various electronic components which are assembled, tested and verified to perform as specified, freeing the OEM from supply chain management functions.

In addition to providing electronic components, Standex engineers assist with design engineering during each step of the collaborative process.
