RTT DeltaGen 7.5 and RTT Portal 3.5 are the newest versions of RTT USA Inc.’s 3D design and visualization software.
RTT DeltaGen 7.5 shows exactly what a vehicle will look like, down to whether a consumer will be able to see a wiring harness through a gap between body panels, whether glare will impede a driver’s ability to see the instrumentation, and even how large the metal flakes in a metallic paint will be. New features improve the efficiency and speed of the design and development processes.
Highlights include:
—Innovations in the RTT RealLight module for real time rendering of photorealistic shadow effects. Ambient occlusion can be rendered to quickly apply realistic shadows to a scene. Ambient occlusion is useful for fast and effects-laden results when smaller shadow effects, such as the darkening of features, are required on large-scale models.
—RTT RealTrace enables the quick generation of optical effects for surfaces. Raytracing effects can reflect changes to the model and animations in real time.
—Conferencing lets you have interactive design discussions and meetings with colleagues anywhere. You can rejoin existing sessions.
—Version 3.5 of the RTT Portal Asset Management System can be added into existing IT infrastructures to better suit individual workflows. Collaboration on projects with several production sites is easier.
