LEESON's Extreme Duck Motor

Extreme Duck motors are stainless steel washdown motors that use the Hydro Sealed System “HS2” to protect them from the outside-in by reducing the points of entry for contaminants and eliminating the need for drain plugs and breathers. The rotor/cartridge seal system, Q-CAR, gives quick access to the interior of the motor, if necessary.

The no through bolt design and screw-on conduit box covers, as well as a smooth frame surface reduce surface areas that may trap contaminants.

Other features include a Protech bearing isolator used for the output shaft seal and a rigid cast base for rugged applications.

Initial offerings will be 3-phase, 208 to 230/460 V, in 1/2 to 2 hp. Single-phase and larger hp ratings will follow.
