The TXG Series of Gigabit Ethernet cameras have data transfer rates to 1,000 Mbit/s and cable lengths to 100 m. Their range of functions, small and rugged design, as well as low power consumption make them suitable for most industrial applications. The cameras come in 13 different Gigabit Ethernet models with resolutions from VGA to 5 megapixel. Monochrome and color versions are available.
They conform to GigE Vision, so they are “plug and play” with the supplied driver software, as well as with established image processing solutions. A new, generic programming interface, Baumer-GAPI, bridges the gap between individual software packages. With this interface, all Baumer FireWire and Gigabit Ethernet cameras can be controlled on one PC, using the same software, regardless of the interface.
