Torsionally Rigid Beam Couplings

The F-series couplings with high torsional rigidity comprise six beams, configured by two sets of three spiral cuts. The beams are short with a steep helix angle to wind-up; a configuration that increases their torque capacity.  They are for light duty power transmission applications such as coupling a servo motor to a lead screw.

The couplings come in five body sizes with outside diameters from 5/8 in.(15.9 mm) to 1 1/2 in. (38.1 mm).  Bores are from 3/16 in. (5 mm) to 3/4 in. (19 mm). Set screw- and clamp-style hubs are also offered.  The couplings are made in aluminum and stainless steel, and the stainless-steel couplings are corrosion resistant and have higher torsional rigidity.
