Adept Announces New Packaging Robots

LIVERMORE, Calif. - Adept Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:ADEP)  announced its two newest packaging robots which the company will be showcasing at the upcoming Pack Expo International Show being held November 9-13 in Chicago, Illinois. The Adept Cobra s850 SCARA and the Adept Quattro s650H parallel robots are the newest robots in the company’s full line of packaging automation products. The robots will be featured on the company’s booth #E-6934.

The Adept Cobra s850 robot is a high-payload SCARA mechanism designed to handle heavier packaged goods. It features a longer Z-stroke or reach for more flexible case and carton loading in packaging applications. The Adept Quattro s650H is the company’s newest parallel robot designed for stringent hygienic environments. The robot is ideal for safe food-handling applications and is designed to handle parts up to 6 kg.
