Englewood, NJ --- A True RMS, 3-phase, digital power Clamp Meter
measuring 3 phase 3-wire, 3 phase 4-wire and single phase circuits to 600V @ 1,000A with True, Reactive and Apparent power measurements to 600KW, is the newest entry from Protek Test and Measurement, an Intelient Technologies, Inc. company.
The Model 667C features
a 10,000 count, 4-digit dual LCD which displays selected power measurement and stores up to 28 measurements in memory. It incorporates an RS232 interface with power monitoring software; is auto ranging, and reads out the total 3-phase measurement via push button. With a 2 inch jaw opening, it can measure Volts, Amps, Kilowatts, VA, VARs, KWh, Power Factor and Frequency.
A value-added plus for the unit is a hard plastic, “Tool Box,” cushion-
sectioned, carrying case which accommodates test leads, test clamps; four (4) 1.5V “AA” batteries, RS232 cable, software and the operating manual.
The company’s Clamp-On Meter line-up also includes the Model 604C, an AC/DC, 1000A, True RMS Meter, user priced @ $93; the Model 601C, True RMS, AC/DC Current Transducer which extends DMM measurements to 1,000A with a user price of $68; and the Model 602C which measures AC current to 400A and is priced @ $25.
