BURLINGTON, MA --Steinmeyer, Inc. announced a new high-speed precision rotary positioning stage powered by a direct drive motor.
Manufactured from high strength anodized aluminum the model DT 170-TLM offers a positioning accuracy of 0.005 degrees, repeatability of +/- 0.001 degrees and speeds up to 10 rps (revolutions per second). The stage has a footprint that is 200 mm wide, 170 mm long and 115 mm high with a 170 mm diameter rotating plate. Dynamic load capacity is 15 kg. An added feature of the DT170 TLM is its built-in temperature control, which ensures that the motor does not overheat.
