Eagle Stainless Achieves ISO 13485:2003 Certification

Strengthening their commitment to quality, Eagle Stainless Tube & Fabrication Inc. achieves ISO 13485:2003 certification. ISO 13485:2003 is a quality standard that represents the requirements for a comprehensive management system for the design and manufacturing of medical devices.

ISO 13485 emphasizes on meeting regulatory as well as customer requirements, risk management, and maintaining effective processes, namely the process specific to the safe design, manufacturing and distribution of medical devices. Although 13485 corresponds with ISO 9001, it is a separate document. Eagle has been ISO 9001 certified since 1998.
