The Mobile Advanced Diagnostics Module (ADM) is a comprehensive physical layer measurement tool for FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 and PROFIBUS PA installations. The Mobile ADM can be used in Zone 2/Class I, Div. 2 areas.
The device monitors the fieldbus physical layer and gives engineers visibility into the fieldbus physical layer for faster commissioning work, longer plant-uptime, true preventative maintenance, and efficient troubleshooting.
It gives the exact segment and individual device data needed for analysis of the fieldbus physical layer. It automatically generates network documentation for each segment and device and lets maintenance personnel pinpoint fault locations from the control room. Comprehensive measurements are transmitted in real-time to the maintenance station and can be easily viewed by an OPC Software Client.
Intermittent segment malfunctions can also be traced without a permanent connection. Passive input circuits and an external power supply leave the physical layer untouched. Additionally, a Diagnostic Manager offers a commissioning wizard, alarming and data logging, and a powerful built-in oscilloscope for displaying in-depth detail of fieldbus signals.
