Pump With Double Row Bearings

by Design World Staff

SKF 3300 DNR Series pump bearings have a double-row bearing design and a steeper, 40° contact angle to meet the higher thrust demands of ANSI style pumps. Standard axial and internal clearance ranges aid in load-sharing between the two rows for cooler operation, reduced lubricant degradation, and low risk of destructive skidding in the inactive row. A robust machined brass cage gives improved performance in heavy-duty and poorly lubricated conditions. Their ISO P6 (ABEC3) precision level ensures better control of each bearing’s mounted clearance and less overall vibration.
