Elma, a leading backplane chassis vendor, and MicroBlade, a developer of AMC and MicroTCA products, have partnered to develop MicroTCA products and system solutions. Their goal is to provide the most innovative MicroTCA system solutions and best overall value available today.
MicroTCA is a modular, low-cost backplane specification that reduces the cost of telecommunications, industrial, medical, and military equipment. The first product developed together by the two companies is the 1U MicroBox. This unit features superior thermal performance in a compact size.
