HEIDENHAIN Offers New Handwheel for Automation

SCHAUMBURG, IL - In machine automation systems where changing formats or positioning objects with numerous axes is necessary, HEIDENHAIN Corporation offers the new HR 1120 electronic handwheel which promises to simplify retooling and setup processes. The handwheel is used in association with the machine control.

Despite its compact dimensions, the new HR 1120 electronic handwheel is suitable for both portable and for stationary housings. The mechanical detent with 100 positions per revolution permits very precise and exact control of movement. The electrical signal output at TTL levels with differential signals as per RS422 allows connection to many standard programmable logic controllers (PLC) and PC slot cards.
