EtherNet/IP Tag Wizard is a free dynamic tool that permits easy integration of Beckhoff I/O into Allen-Bradley® Logix controllers using RSLogix™ 5000 programming. It imports the process image of your I/O node – saving programming time. After saving the RSLogix™ 5000 PLC program, the EtherNet/IP Tag Wizard opens - just like any other small application such as Microsoft Word or Excel.
Then you can map multiple I/O nodes by selecting an EtherNet/IP Bus Coupler or an IL2301-B905 EtherNet/IP Fieldbus Box. I/O terminals can be added to the system simply by double clicking the I/O into the correct category. Once a node has been mapped, you can import the node into the program using a previously saved RSLogix™ 5000 program.
