Seals, pump components, and compressor plates molded of PEEK™ have higher fatigue and chemical resistance than similar components molded of fluoropolymers. PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) withstands temperatures in excess of 500° F (260° C) and pressures up to 580 psi. PEEK component designs have excellent resistance to chemically aggressive environments, electricity and radiation. PEEK is inherently pure and therefore can be used in long service applications with extremely low levels of contamination introduced to the chemical streams being processed.
