The PTPM and PTSM, for use in LED connections, measure just 5 mm high and are rated up to 5 A. The PTPM uses insulation-piercing connection (IPC) technology, eliminating wire preparation. This allows on-site connection for both signal and data on a 2.5 mm centerline. There is no need to strip conductors.
The PTSM is available in a pluggable version that uses push-in spring technology. It allows quick connection of rigid and flexible conductors up to 20 AWG. The connectors were designed with LED connections in mind, but will work in any application with limited space, such as ballasts, small fans and compact power supplies.
