The Nook Sensor System™ (NSS) lets you precisely control the position of translating screw jack systems. Repeatability is up to + 0.004 in. (0.1 mm). The system is specifically for the ActionJac™. It features a custom aluminum stem cover. This cylindrical stem cover acts as a housing shroud for select position and travel limit sensors mounted with custom profiles and used to detect ring magnets fixed to the translating screw. A patented, state-of-the art electronic magnetic circuit is the basis of operation for these sensors.
