Cicoil, Valencia, Calif., introduced its Ultra Flexible and High Temperature Coaxial Cables. Unlike industry standard semi-rigid Coax products, the Cicoil version has been designed for tight routing installation, continuous motion, phase stability, excessive heat (260°C) and extremely cold bend temperature exposure (-65°C).
Cicoil’s flexible 30 AWG Flat Coaxial Cable is available in 50 Ohm and 75 Ohm versions with 1 to 8 coax conductors, and is excellent for high performance video transmission in mil/aero, space, medical and commercial applications.
Cicoil’s patented extrusion process allows each coax conductor to be placed in a flat, Flexx-Sil profile, precisely controlling the spacing of each component, insulation thickness and the overall cable shape. The halogen-free and flame retardant design is engineered to provide weight savings, low line-to-line skew and maximum signal integrity, while still delivering exceptional mechanical reliability.
The tear resistant Flexx-Sil jacket is also self-healing from small punctures and will not wear, crack or deform due to long term exposure to vibration, radiation, corrosion, salt water, ice, steam, sunlight, humidity, ozone, UV light, autoclave and many chemicals.
Standard “off the shelf” 50 Ohm and 75 Ohm Coax Cables are available for immediate delivery and cable assemblies, complete with connectors are offered in 3, 6 and 12 ft lengths. In addition, Cicoil can manufacture custom cables incorporating various RG styles, Microwave, Twinax, Triax and Micro-miniature coax designs by request with minimum lead times.
Cicoil’s Flexx-Sil Jacketed Coaxial Cables are UL and CSA Recognized, CE Conforming, RoHS 2 & REACH Compliant, Class 1 Clean Room Rated and are manufactured in an automated, climate controlled environment.
