Compact Ball Screw SDAN-V
The Model SDAN-V is a compact precision ball screw with an external nut. New technology is utilized inside the ball screw nut to achieve an ideal ball circulation structure with smoother rotational motion. The double nut system provides for high rigidity. THK offers 7 screw shaft diameters from 32 to 63 and lead sizes 5 mm to 40 mm for 47 possible combinations.
Type HDR LM Guide
Our new Type HDR LM Guide offers a rigid design that is suitable for single rail applications. It enables single-axis tables to be compact and lightweight. The ball raceways of the Type HDR are positioned on the sides of the LM rail, making it difficult for foreign materials to reach them.
This LM Guide is ideal for applications where a constant MC moment will be applied. The HDR offers an improved dust-proofing plate cover easily be applied to rails up to over 5 m long.
Two drive systems are combined into a single package for a compact overall design. The Type KR-RL handles loads in all four directions (radial, reverse-radial, and horizontal), making it possible to install in any mounting orientation. It is optimal for end effectors of robot arms that move freely.
OMNIedge SYSTEM PROVIDES PREDICTIVE MAINENANCE DETECTION FOR LINEAR MOTION COMPONENTS
The OMNIedge sensors are simply installed on existing components for convenient and easy remote monitoring of components. Data is securely collected and analyzed to provide status alerts. By monitoring and predicting maintenance or component degredation, the OMNIedge prevents production delays caused by unexpected machine downtime.
Backlash-Free and High Accuracy Circular Motion
THK’s four-way equal load Type HCR Curved LM Guide provides backlash-free and high accuracy circular motion. It features four rows of raceways precision-ground on an LM rail and an LM block. LM blocks are arranged at the load points, allowing for large circular motion of 5m or greater and the capability of receiving loads in all directions. Multiple LM blocks can individually move on the same rail.
ENGINEERING MAKES THE DIFFERENCE
As the pioneer of the linear motion system and the patent innovator of Caged Technology, THK continues to be the preferred world leader in re-circulating, ball linear motion guide technology. When engineers select THK as their motion control partner, they get the benefit of THK’s industry-leading Global Engineering Team of Linear Motion Experts.
Caged Technology offers these specific benefits:
- Quiet Operation that Minimizes Metal Contact. Collision noise between balls is eliminated by the ball cage resulting in quiet operation.
- Orderly Ball Movement. Since the balls are held by the ball cage in the form of a belt, they are aligned uniformly and move in a circulating manner. There is no skewing of the balls, while sudden variations in friction are also eliminated, allowing for stable movement.
- Original Cage Structure Exhibiting Excellent High-Speed Performance. The use of ball cages eliminates generation of heat caused by friction between balls resulting in excellent high-speed performance.
- Grease Holding Structure (Consecutive Grease Pockets) for Long-Term, Maintenance-Free Operation, and Long Service Life. Grease Pockets are provided consecutively over the entire ball circulation path to constantly lubricate the balls enabling long-term, maintenance-free operation, and Long Service Life.
