Decades ago, Dr. Faulhaber patented the
first self-supporting, ironless, skew-wound rotor coil, and the
FAULHABER Group motor technologies grew from this revolutionary patented
system. The system centers on winding hollow, low-inertia moving coils
for maximum power and efficiency in the smallest physical spaces. With
the licensing of this technology to other companies in Europe and Japan,
The FAULHABER coils became the standard for applications throughout the
world requiring low inertia, rapid acceleration, no cogging, and
miniature construction. By remaining close to the company’s engineering
roots, MICROMO has become the pre-eminent supplier of micro actuators
and motion control systems.
MICROMO’s product line includes fractional
horsepower DC coreless motors, PMDC motors up to 1,000Watts, brushless
DC motors, precision gearboxes, optical and magnetic encoders, fail-safe
brakes, tachometers and tacho-generators, controllers, complete servo
systems, and custom subassemblies incorporating these products for
integration into OEM devices.

With our on-site machining and assembly
facilities, our versatile standard product line, and over 5,000 special
executions, customization is our strength. MICROMO’s operations includes
a state-of-the-art CNC machining facility, a 12,000ft_ clean room
assembly operation, on-line product acceptance of both finished product
and incoming goods, and a research and development and engineering
testing center. All application work is carried out by an in-house
engineering staff that travels the Americas assisting over 3,000
customers in the design, specification, and after sales support of
