GLOBAL RESOURCE
Accuride’s global resources include a staff with extensive experience in product design, engineering and tooling design, steel fabrication, product assembly, and supply chain management. Our first order of business is to study the proposed applications in detail to gain a thorough understanding of the design requirements.
We have the means to create prototypes in a variety of materials including zinc, aluminum, plastic, or steel; giving clients the flexibility to test concepts quickly. Throughout the development process, we rationalize components and tooling investments to simplify and standardize where it makes sense to keep projects cost effective.
MANUFACTURING
From a single component, to a kit, or a complete drop-in assembly, you can rely on Accuride’s knowledge and expertise to see projects through to completion.
With nearly 1 million square feet of manufacturing space, Accuride has nine plating lines and 77 roll form machines, providing the capacity to manage projects of every size. We purchase more than 40 million pounds of cold-rolled steel per year and have two in-house steel mills that offer the flexibility to accommodate virtually any design and projects of every size.
A COMMITMENT TO QUALITY
Over the years, Accuride has developed manufacturing methods and techniques built around efficiency and quality. As the first U.S. based slide manufacturer awarded ISO 9000 certification, all production facilities have quality management systems certified to ISO 9001:2008 and adhere to the ISO 14001 environmental standard. All finishes and product components are RoHS compliant. Accuride also vigorously tests products to ensure they meet or exceed industry standards.

Accuride International Inc. was founded by Fred Jordan in 1962. The company made its start as a small tool and die shop producing ball bearing drawer slides for the electromechanical industry. The precision slides were used to carry large computer disk drives and copy machine chassis. The smooth movement and design accuracy appealed to other industries, and soon,
Accuride and its product line expanded.
Today, Accuride remains a privately held company that has grown into a global presence with facilities located in North America, Europe, and Asia.
