The power of innovation. Carlyle Johnson is always working on ways to do the job better. Our engineering
team designs custom solutions for non-standard applications, often integrating our parts into larger systems,
while consistently solving the power transmission challenges that others cannot. Utilizing new equipment,
new techniques and the latest advancements in materials, CJM produces parts that are better than all others.
Our engineering team is excited for 2012, and we are working towards the release of some of our most
revolutionary products ever. One of our most recent launches was the Torq-Lok® bi-directional, reverse-locking
brake – an improvement on the old wrap-spring, no-back design – which can withstand torque overload
and torsional shock load conditions.

Our production machinery includes some of the newest, most accurate equipment available in the market,
and our engineers apply advancements in materials and techniques to our product designs. We continually
