ABSOLUTE, LINEAR POSITION SENSORS
The latest developments in our R-Series Temposonics platform include faster update rates and improved accuracy, as well as new Industrial Ethernet interfaces and IP69K protective housings. Our next generation E-Series sensors offer improved sealing and connector options. These products provide resolution as low as 1 micron, superior performance and reduced signal jitter. Superior immunity to shock and vibration improve their performance in many applications in harsh environments. The external programmability reduces setup time and cost, while helping to resolve installation and troubleshooting issues.

SENSORS FOR MOBILE HYDRAULIC APPLICATIONS

Today’s mobile machines demand better safety systems, greater reliability, single-hand control, absolute positioning, noise reduction, increased productivity, reduced shock and stress on mechanical parts, all with lower development costs. Our sensors enable mobile machine designers to lock in the advantages of closed loop feedback for electrohydraulic systems. Other sensor technologies can require frequent re-calibration, especially when power is interrupted. Once a Temposonics sensor is initially calibrated, it is set for good. This prevents downtime and reduced service calls. MTS Sensors has developed a range of position sensors specially designed for this demanding and harsh operating environment.

LEVEL PLUS LIQUID-LEVEL SENSORS
Storage facilities and processing operations demand innovation, accuracy, cost-effectiveness and reliability. There are a lot of reasons why Level Plus liquid-level sensors work so well in continuous and batch process control, bulk storage, precision inventory control, product level, interface level, and temperature monitoring applications:

• Level readings are not affected by changes in dielectric constant
• Level readings are not affected by changes in atmospheric conditions
• Level readings detect liquid level rather than foam level
• Our sensors maintain linearity regardless of temperature changes
• Our sensors do not require re-calibration for the life of the sensor
• Our customers can measure product level, interface level and temperature through one opening in a vessel

Performance characteristics like these have made MTS Level Plus Sensors the preferred choice in the pharmaceutical, biotech, specialty chemicals, petroleum, propane, petro-chemical and food and beverage industries.
