Today’s embedded applications targeting the Internet of Things (IoT), consumer, industrial control, and motor control require flexible microcontrollers (MCUs) that consume less power, are more cost effective and have smaller form factors.
The PIC32MM family of 32-bit PIC32 microcontrollers features core independent peripherals that offload the CPU for lower power and lower system design. It suits applications demanding low power and longer battery life, and has sleep modes down to 500 nA.
It also suits applications with space constraints, given its 4 x 4 mm package options. The PIC32MM devices include core independent peripherals such as Configurable Logic Cells (CLC) and Multiple-output Capture Compare PWMs (MCCPs) which help enable sensorless BLDC motor control applications.
