Line of switches includes four new models—the 110FX2, 111FX3, 112FX4 and 114FX6. The switches handle communications in industrial data acquisition, control, and Ethernet I/O applications. Each model offers a combination of copper and fiber ports.
The new additions use IEEE 802.3 Fast Ethernet 10/100BaseTX switching technology. The switches auto-negotiate the speed and flow of data and will store up to 8,000 MAC addresses in memory. Due to their heavy-duty enclosures and extended environmental tolerances, the 100 Series switches handle hostile industrial settings where extreme temperature, vibration, noise and shock variables are routine.
