TE Connectivity (TE) is demonstrating components for servomotors and industrial machinery as well as a wide variety of other connectivity solutions at the 2017 Manufacturing in America event being held at the Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit, from March 22 to March 23.
This will be the first time TE will present its Intercontec solutions (e.g., circular metric connectors), which broaden the company’s harsh connectivity portfolio, especially in industrial power and signal. Additionally, TE will showcase circular plastic connectors (CPCs) and ARISO contactless connectivity platform, couplers enabling connectivity without mating.
With its new Intercontec portfolio, TE now offers a large variety of solutions that make connecting easy. The connectors consist of only a few single parts with a modular architecture which makes them highly compatible and usable in many different combinations.
ARISO contactless connectivity platform reliably delivers power, data and signal over short distances—even in harsh environments such as water, oil or gas. And because ARISO contactless connectivity platform can replace complex and expensive harness constructions and slip rings, it enables connectivity where previously it was impossible. It even makes maintenance and installation a lot easier thanks to a high degree of design flexibility.
CPCs can be used practically anywhere signal and/or power needs to enter/exit a system. These connectors come in a versatile range of power and signal options as well as in six different series.
