  1. The person doing the podcast takes the viewpoint of an existing high-end additive manufacturing company going into the maker market. Her understanding of exactly what the virally diffusing personal 3D printers can already do seems to be marginal. Certainly, her notion that such printers can only make fragile, non-functional parts is total nonsense.
