1U Pizza-Box Style Microchassis

A new microchassis from Triple E Corp. is suitable for electronic systems configured for military, aerospace, commercial, and industrial harsh environment applications. The microchassis meets IEEE1101.10 and IEEE1101.11 mechanical requirements.

Configured with VME64X, Cpci or PICMG2.16 backplane, the unit allows for up to two 6U X 1.6 mm X 160 mm size boards in front, and two 6U X 1.6 mm X 80 mm direct plug-in rear transition boards. It weights 10.75 lb and measures 19 in. rack mount (L-R) X 1.73 in. high X 11.25 in. deep. Construction features 0.036 in. thick zinc plated steel for structural integrity, durable powder coat finish and removable side walls for easy maintenance. The unit has an all-extruded aluminum 901 Series card guide cluster.

A 3U, 300 W, PICMG 2.11 compliant power supply fits compactly within the 1U rack aperture. The power supply has nominal input of 115 to 240 Vac, operational input of 90 to 264 Vac, output of +5V/30 A, +3.3 V/40 A and +12 V/1 A with operating temperature range between -5º C to +55º C. Cooling comes from eight 12 Vdc 11.00 CFM fans via push-pull method.
