Misumi USA, Inc. recently introduced an all-new specialty product family of 316 Stainless Steel Screws, Nuts and Washers.

The new 316 Stainless Steel fastening products are manufactured to precise specifications and the anticorrosive properties of the material are far better than those of 304 Stainless Steel. The new screws, nuts and washers are designed for use in the manufacture and assembly of machinery and automated systems installed in settings where sanitation standards are stringent and frequent washdowns are required − such as in the food, beverage, chemical, medical device and pharmaceutical industries.

Misumi’s new 316 Stainless Steel line includes: Hexagon Socket Cap Screws (SSCB), Hexagon Screws (RSSCB), Nuts (SSLBNR), Spring Washers (SSSLW) and Washers (SSPWF). The products are available in a range of sizes and shipping time is 3 days.

Misumi has expanded its lines of value packed screws, nuts and washers, which the company continues to develop in response to customer requests for cost-saving, larger quantity packages of frequently purchased products. Each of the new products has a one box/pack minimum and ships in 3 days.

Misumi also announced that the surface treatments of many of its screws and nuts have been changed from yellow chromate plating to RoHS compliant trivalent chromate plating.
