Tom Lutz, a Google engineer, lives in Leonia, NJ, but works at Google’s Manhattan office. He decided the train was talking too long, and wanted to bike while creating a shortcut over water to get to work. To get from land to water to work, his Brompton bicyle totes a folding boat, called the Fliptail Collapsible Dinghy, he built with his son. After 150 hours he had created an all-encompassing boat and bicycle system.
