LIVERMORE, Calif.– Adept Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:ADEP) announced it will preview new solar cell inspection technology at the Solar Power International trade show in San Diego, California October 13-16, 2008. The new technology integrates high-resolution 2D and 3D solar cell inspection with advanced handling applications.
The company will be demonstrating both the 2D and 3D high-resolution inspection technology its booth #229 at the Solar Power International 2008 Trade Show in the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California October 13-16, 2008. The inspection system will be featured both integrated with the Adept Quattro s650 robot handling high speed solar cell transfers, as well as in a stationary demonstration unit. Both demonstrations will utilize a high resolution, high-speed image capture system provided by LMI Technologies, a leader in advanced vision sensors for industrial applications. The Adept Quattro s650 robot is ideal for handling, assembly, sorting, loading, unloading, testing, inspection, tabbing, stringing, scribing and dispensing applications.
