As a trusted ePlatform provider, Advantech has been at the forefront of the embedded single board computer (SBC) market for more than 20 years. 2006 marks the second time that Advantech was voted the best single board computer provider by the readers of Control Design magazine. This award recognizes and solidifies Advantech’s brand image as the top choice for buyers in the SBC market.
This year, Control Design sent out more than 15,000 surveys to its subscribers who are eligible to vote asking them for the industrial equipment suppliers that provide best value. Targeted readers included industrial machine builder professionals and system integrators. To ensure an objective result, Control Design made sure that any supplier’s names were excluded from the distribution list during the process. The survey was unaided, which means a dropdown list of suppliers or product brands were not included. Readers were asked to name one company that they perceive provides the best value in each of the categories listed out by Control Design magazine.
“We are honored to receive the Readers’ Choice Award,” said Jack Huang, VP of Advantech’s Embedded Computing Group, “The award signifies that our customers — be they system integrators or OEM partners — recognize Advantech as the number one trusted brand that offers SBC’s especially in the field of industrial equipment manufacturing (IEM). Advantech will continue to offer high-quality and advanced products to our customers; giving them the most value. Advantech’s DTOS (Design To Order Services) team also offers a customization service for system and board-level products to meet customers’ diversification needs.”
To be chosen again by the readers of Control Design signifies that Advantech’s accomplishment in the SBC market is widely recognized and accepted. With experience gained from years working in the embedded market, Advantech will continue to strive for more reliable embedded platforms that will create unique value for our customers.
