As a trusted ePlatform provider, Advantech has been at the forefront of the embedded single board computer (SBC) market for more than 20 years. 2006 marks the second time that Advantech was voted the best single board computer provider by the readers of Control Design magazine. This award recognizes and solidifies Advantech’s brand image as the top choice for buyers in the SBC market.
This year, Control Design sent out more than 15,000 surveys to its subscribers who are eligible to vote asking them for the industrial equipment suppliers that provide best value. Targeted readers included industrial machine builder professionals and system integrators. To ensure an objective result, Control Design made sure that any supplier’s names were excluded from the distribution list during the process. The survey was unaided, which means a dropdown list of suppliers or product brands were not included. Readers were asked to name one company that they perceive provides the best value in each of the categories listed out by Control Design magazine.
