Advantechs 15.6, 18.5, and 21.5 Multi-Touch Touch Panel Computers (TPCs) can now be supplied with InduSofts latest WebStudio v7.1 Service Pack 2 pre-installed.
Advantechs new multi-touch TPCs are specifically designed to provide easier operation and boost productivity in manufacturing control environments, building automation and other HMI applications. Multi-touch interaction can require two-handed operation for certain commands to provide safe operation during machine calibration or service. Quality management, statistical process control and other higher-level computing functions generally require integration with other platforms, easy to achieve with InduSoft WebStudio installed on any of these TPCs.
The award winning design of the TPCs has been honored not only for its appearance, but also for being extremely intuitive to use. A light touch on the pale blue soft-keys gives users quick and easy access to information, allowing for convenient viewing.
The TPCs feature a widescreen ratio of 16:9, providing 40% more screen area than 4:3 displays. Furthermore, with the addition of multi-touch capabilities, they provide even greater control and viewing of information shown using InduSoft WebStudio. The following models are currently available and more to come: TPC-1840WP, TPC-2140WP, SCP-1840WP, and the SPC-2140WP.
InduSoft Web Studio offers the new Service Pack 2 (SP2) to provide enhancements and functionality to its powerful HMI software platform. This new service pack delivers native support of HTML5 screens and animation for multiple devices and platforms, including Safari and Chrome browsers. This enables authorized users quick and easy remote access from tablets and smartphones, regardless of the operating system.
SP2 pack is offered free of charge to current users of InduSoft Web Studio V7.1, or the entire SCADA software package can be downloaded for a free trial at http://www.indusoft.com/
These new HMIs with InduSoft Web Studio software pre-installed can be ordered directly from Advantech, or the TPC and the software can be purchased separately from Advantech and InduSoft respectively.
