Cincinnati, Ohio ‚– The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech introduces the PCM-3202I PCI-104 interface card, which supports two independent AMONet (Advantech Motion Network) RS-485 master rings with each ring controlling up to 2048 I/O points, 256 axes, or a combination of I/O points and axes for motion control. The PCM-3202I allows direct data transfer between master and slaves without any operations in between. This customized solution saves wires, covers long distances, and supports high-speed real-time communications.
The PCM-3202I supports transfer rates up to 20 Mbps and a maximum communication of up to 100 meters, creating a high-speed network. Additionally, there‚’s an alternative model to the PCM-3202I, the PCM-3202P, which has all the features of the PCM-3202I but also has an ISA connector for legacy connections.
