Agilent Technologies Inc. (Santa Clara, CA) introduced a new averager real-time processing function for its PCIe digitizer family. Averaging signals reduces random noise effects, which improves the signal-to-noise ratio and increases resolution and dynamic range. Features include:
- Fast sampling rate of up to 3.2 GS/s achieved with a single trigger and acquisition.
- An average of up to 520,000 triggers per record.
- Self-trigger mode to effectively minimize synchronous pattern noise within the application.
