Anark Expands Format upport
The latest release of the Anark Core™ Platform, Anark Core 1.1 includes enhancements to the company’s automated CAD data transformation software system, including direct support for 3D data-exchange and visualization formats VRML, X3D, and Autodesk® DWF™. The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) recognize VRML and X3D as open 3D graphics formats for data exchange and visualization applications.
The Autodesk DWF format was added to easily export transformed 3D CAD data from Anark Core for use within Autodesk Design Review and Freewheel™, which lets you view, print, measure, mark up, and annotate 2D and 3D designs. Freewheel is their free web service to view and share 2D and 3D designs.
Anark Core 1.1 also includes memory-performance enhancements, enabling larger CAD assemblies and parts to be transformed within Anark Core Workstation and Anark Core Server. This will aid users seeking to transform product design data for exchange, collaboration, and visualization processes, including technical publications.
