Richardson, TX – Anritsu Corporation announces its ME7834 Mobile Device Test Platform (MDTP) offers the highest number of validated protocol conformance test cases for TD-LTE, including interworking with TD-SCDMA and GSM. Confirmation was provided by the Global Certification Forum (GCF) at the recent Conformance and Interoperability Agreement Group (CAG) Meeting #35 held in Lexington, KY, and complements the established success of the ME7834 MDTP in LTE FDD conformance.
The ME7834 MDTP has been the leading provider of validated LTE FDD and overall GCF/PTCRB protocol test cases since 2011. It provides customers with the best coverage in conformance requirements. TD-LTE, the Time Division Duplex (TDD) variant of LTE FDD, has increased dramatically in importance as the largest mobile network operator in China begins to build its national TD-LTE network, and additional operators in the Americas and Asia build out their own networks. Anritsu provides full coverage for TD-LTE protocol conformance in the ME7834 MDTP, including 3GPP Release 8 and Release 9 capability.
“We’ve not only achieved the best coverage in TD-LTE overall, but also for the bands relevant to China’s largest operator, and those test cases focused on interoperability with TD-SCDMA and GSM. When you couple this with our record in LTE FDD, the ME7834 truly represents the best global solution for Protocol Conformance requirements,” said Patrick Manfredi, Director of Product Management at Anritsu Wireless Protocol Test.
Anritsu’s ME7834 is a flexible test system focused on both Protocol Conformance Test (PCT) and Carrier Acceptance Test (CAT). Users worldwide have selected the ME7834 for coverage of thousands of LTE and UTRAN test cases to ensure that devices operate properly in a variety of network deployments. This market-leading test capability includes test packages for LTE protocol conformance and carrier acceptance covering multiple North American and Asian operators. Test coverage available on the ME7834 includes numerous leading LTE / LTE-A technologies, including Carrier Aggregation and VoLTE. The ME7834 is GCF- and PTCRB-validated, as well as carrier-approved.
