A line of low-cost, lightweight miniature venturi vacuum generators for easy integration into pick-and-place, automation, and small robotics equipment is available from Anver Corporation of Hudson, Massachusetts.
Anver JV Vacuum Pumps are venturi vacuum generators that achieve a 26‚†Hg vacuum at <1 cfm air flow; providing millisecond attach and release in a wide range of high speed, high vacuum pick-and-place and automation systems. Designed for mounting at the pick-up point, these pumps weigh only 16 grams, accommodate several types of suction cups, integrate easily into compressed air systems, and have no moving parts for maintenance-free operation.
Molded from thermoplastic and color-coded based upon flow rate, Anver JV Vacuum Pumps come in 0.50 or 0.74 scfm ratings and are available with 5 mm female threads (which 10/32 fits right into) or with 5/32‚†(4 mm) O.D. tube connection ports. Installation using standard, off-the-shelf, compressed air components is straightforward and these miniature pumps are available with or without 24 VDC vacuum control valves and silencers.
