Automation company Trimantec launches PPE line

Trimantec, a manufacturer located in Winston Salem, N.C., has recently released a line of personal protective equipment (PPE) products. In response to COVID-19, masks have made a societal shift and will continue to change the way we interact in public and in the workplace. Mask extenders and sneeze guards are two popular products being sold locally and out-of-state. Face mask extenders are made for workers in healthcare, food, industrial and other essential sectors who are required to wear face masks for long periods of time. Sneeze guards have also become an essential PPE product for small and large business owners. The need for companies to protect their employees and customers has become more important than ever before.

In response to COVID-19, manufacturing companies like Trimantec have expanded their business focus to new product demands. Trimantec is designing and creating their own PPE products using in-house materials and machines. Mask extenders and acrylic sneeze guards are simple yet effective solutions for many industries to implement at their workplace during this global pandemic. Manufacturing technologies such as 3D printers and laser cutters make these types of products easier and quicker to mass produce than ever before.

Mask extenders were initially introduced for healthcare workers, however, the need for this product has extended beyond hospital staff. Trimantec recently received order requests from nearby schools, offices, and manufacturing facilities. They have also garnered interest from international medical centers. Trimantec hopes to continue their in-house manufacturing efforts and create new PPE products as COVID-19 continues to unfold.
