LEE LINEAR® now provides catalogs for fast and trouble-free ordering of precision ball screws. The SBC catalog provides metric configuration information, while a separate new catalog gives inch dimensions. Both are available on the Company website. Each catalog offers technical information in an easy to understand format.
LEE’s ball screws are manufactured from grade 5, induction case hardened alloy steel. High efficiency is attained due to the low coefficient of friction achieved from the rolling movement of the balls between the screw shaft and ball nut. Precision manufacturing produces regular, high-lead, and miniature flange type ball screws and ball nuts that effectively reduce backlash.
“The nuts on our ball screws are internally ground to provide smooth operation, high speeds, and long life,” explained Jim Ashworth, Vice President of LEE LINEAR®. “High duty loads are not a problem for LEE’s ball screws, as they have over 90% efficiency. We offer a variety of end supports, as well as standard and custom end-machining, flange types, and nose thread adapters.”
