BelFuseBel Fuse Inc., a global manufacturer of power management devices, announced the expansion of Bel Power Solutions’ PFE1100 1100W front-end series to include Screw type input connector for normal airflow PFE1100-12-054SD and reverse airflow PFE1100-12-054TD airflow Power Supplies. This product provides a 12VDC output with 5V or 3.3V pin-selectable standby. Exceeding CSCI Platinum targets, the new PFE1100 product line has the world’s lowest power dissipation. With the lowest direct and indirect running costs and enhanced reliability, it is the highest power density, greenest server power supply in the 54mm form factor.

The PFE1100 with Screw type input can be used in data centers, servers, and storage equipment, providing them with reliable power at the world’s best efficiency. Higher efficiency means less energy wasted within the product, and less energy used in cooling infrastructure. Swapping from an ordinary power supply to a Bel Power Solutions’ PFE1100 supply should pay for itself in a few short months. In addition, products which incorporate energy-efficient
power supplies like the PFE1100 often qualify for rebates from energy utilities,
thus offering savings from Day One.

Featuring a slim 54mm (2 1/8“) width, the PFE1100 minimizes the use of precious space inside the customer product, and maximizes rear panel area for I/O and user interface. The incredible technology used with this product allows Bel Power Solutions to deliver as much power from 54mm as others can with a 78 or 81mm width, a staggering 30% reduction. The PFE1100 also features highly accurate real-time monitoring of input and output parameters, voltages, currents, temperatures, and true power readings. This enables data center managers to optimize server usage to reduce load power, further increasing the energy gains beyond those of the power supply itself.

RoHS compliant and displays CE Mark for the European Low Voltage Directive (LVD), the power supplies meet international safety standards.
