Beswick Engineering (www.beswick.com) unveiled its latest ultra-miniature M3 threaded quick disconnect assembly, which consists of a stainless steel external end and a brass internal end.
With the entire assembly weighing a very minimal 3.4 grams, M3’s internal end is fitted with a M3 internal thread as well as an automatic shut-off valve. It only measures around 16.7 mm long and features a six mm hexagonal body.
Meanwhile, the assembly’s external end is specifically designed with a M3 external head as well as a captured O-ring seal for leak-tight protection. It comes with a five mm hexagonal body and measures only about 11 mm long.
Setting an industry standard for high performance and miniaturization, the company’s all-new M3 threaded quick disconnects are manufactured and designed for applications that require leak-tightness, space, light weight and durability, such as in medical and dental equipment, laboratory equipment and instruments. They are also used in aerospace equipment, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, industrial robots and packaging machinery.
Aside from the latest M3 threaded ultra-miniature quick disconnect, the company portfolio also includes several other kinds of miniature quick disconnects. These include screw type, snap type, single shut-off, single line, double shut-off, multi-line configurations as well as barbed and threaded connections. Beswick’s multi-line variant does not only offer exceptionally quick connections, they also guarantee proper orientation.
