St. Charles, IL – In celebration of its 50th Anniversary year, Bison Gear & Engineering Corp. is offering over 30 models of metric worm gear reducers for only $50 each. These hollow shaft right angle gearboxes are designed to mate to IEC standard motors in frame sizes from 50 to 80. Utilizing hardened steel worms and forged bronze gears with reductions from 7:1 to 100:1, the lifetime lubricated gearboxes are rated for input powers from 1/20 to 2.25 hp (.04 to 1.67 kW), with continuous torque ratings up to 708 in-lbs (80 N-m).
“These high quality, European-manufactured gear reducers are an incredible value at just $50,” said Darren Mooneyham, Bison Gear remanufacturing services manager. “We have over 500 of these $50 units in stock and the specifications are in the ‘Closeout’ section of BisonGear.com. However, this is on a first-come, while they last basis.”
In addition, Bison’s remaining inventory of over 40 models of larger size Metric Gear Reducers has been similarly discounted as part of the 50th Anniversary Metric Gearbox Gala. Those gearboxes feature gear reductions up to 444:1 and continuous torque ratings up to 2,487 in lbs (281 N-m). All of these Metric gearboxes are supported by Bison Gear’s In-Stock, Instant-Ship (ISIS) program that offers same day shipment for orders received before noon (Central).
