San Francisco, CA – Bosch Rexroth will exhibit a broad range of automation products and applications for semiconductor and photovoltaic production, July 15-17 in San Francisco at Semicon West, booths S-841 and S-941.
Linear Motion: BKK and BKR Bridge Modules
The BKK and BKR Bridge Modules span long unsupported lengths and are optimized for extremely high torsional stiffness. Modules are fully enclosed to protect internal components from environmental contamination.
The BKR belt-driven version provides faster speeds and is available in lengths up to 8,000mm. The ball screw driven BKK version offers higher thrust forces and lengths up to 5,500mm.
Pneumatics: Compact Electro-Pneumatic Pressure Regulator
The ED02 Electro-Pneumatic pressure regulator offers high performance in a compact design, and is applicable for many semiconductor and photovoltaic applications. The ED02 provides 100 l/min of flow and attains a dynamic that is usually only possible in devices with larger nominal widths. Up to four ED02 series pressure regulators can be stacked together without a base plate, and compressed air supply is possible from both sides, permitting extremely flexible use in a system.
Motion Control: NYCe 4000 System
The new version 2.0 software for the Rexoth NYCe 4000 motion controller now supports all types of encoding signals for accurate positioning while eliminating the need for a costly interpolator and cable. Complementing Rexroth‚’s existing motion control support for a variety of motors, the 2.0 software allows for more flexible tool designs.
Other key Rexroth product highlights at the show will include:
‚• Miniature linear motion components for wire bonding and chip handling
‚• New IndraDrive Cs drive and SERCOS III automation technology for wafer handling and other
processes
‚• Pneumatic Non-Contact Transfer (NCT) units for photovoltaic panel and wafer handling
‚• Easy-2-Combine pneumatic component system for chip handling
In addition, by showcasing application areas for solar, wafer handling, metrology, chip handling and wire bonding, Bosch Rexroth will demonstrate how companies can improve productivity, enhance reliability, boost throughput and reduce cost for semiconductor and photovoltaic manufacturing.
