Buckeye Fasteners Company, a supplier of fasteners and custom components, is the sole distributor of Ohio Weld Fasteners — which are manufactured by The Ohio Nut and Bolt Company in Berea, Ohio.

The PN: a single tab, single projection weld nut.
The QN weld nut has four identical precision projections. They’re positioned and designed to fuse simultaneously so each projection flows and seats properly for maximum weld strength. The four projections provide additional weld area coverage with maximum strength.
The PN weld nut features a strong single button projection, which offers a deeper, more penetrating weld than is typically obtained from other types of projections. Therefore, the PN is ideal for use with heavier gage material.
The WN weld nut is a dual-tab projection weld nut that’s designed for use in locations requiring additional strength, as well as where the tension is against the weld. The location of the twin tabs enables the WN nut to be used in bridging corners and on convex surfaces.
The SN weld nut (economy t nut) is a spot weld, precision-pilot nut that features an optimum welding tab. This tab will take several sizes of electrodes and permits use of the same equipment, settings, and electrodes to produce the product or product components. The SN is ideal where the nut in the application is required to function as a stiffener or a brace, in addition to serving as a fastener.
The TP dual-hole weld nut (double economy t nut) is designed for use where there’s a need for tapped holes close together.

The XN: a single tab with target spot weld nut.
The ND weld nut is a dual-tab spot weld nut for applications requiring additional strength where tension is against the weld. Established as the standard slot fastener in the aluminum extrusion industry (economy t nut). The location of the twin-tabs enables the ND to be used in bridging corners and recessed areas. A precision pilot speeds location and provides a full thread engagement. The ND can use the same electrodes, equipment and settings used in production, thereby eliminating setup and changeover time and lowering in-place-fastener cost.
The XN spot weld nut features a long, narrow body that’s suitable for attachment in confined areas such as channels, narrow angles, or close to corners, as well as for general applications. The XN spot weld nut has a precision pilot, full threads, and is countersunk for easy entry of mating screw.
Buckeye Fasteners offers several other weld nut options and offers support from initial concept to completed assembly. Visit their website to more.
